BOOKING AND CANCELLATION TERMS

Formation of the Agreement

The agreement is formed when the customer has made a booking and paid the participation fee and any additional services in full.

Cancellation by the Customer

The customer may cancel their participation free of charge no later than 7 days before the start of the trip.

Cancellations made after this deadline are non-refundable.

In the event of illness, participation may be transferred to another date. Cancellations must be made in writing.

Payments made using a sports or exercise benefit cannot be refunded in cash. In such cases, the refund will be provided as a personal gift voucher.

Participation and Liability

Lake & Hike Oy has liability insurance covering its activities as required by law.

Participants take part in trips at their own responsibility and agree to follow all safety instructions given by the guide, as well as applicable laws and regulations.

Health and Suitability

Participants are responsible for ensuring that their health and physical ability allow them to participate safely in the trip.

Participants must inform the organiser in advance of any illnesses, injuries or other factors that may affect their safety during the trip.

Safety and Equipment

The use of paddling vests and other safety equipment is mandatory whenever instructed by the guide.

Participants must follow all safety instructions given by the guide at all times.

Weather Conditions and Changes

The organiser has the right to change the route or schedule, or to interrupt a trip due to weather conditions, safety concerns or other compelling reasons.

The organiser also has the right to cancel a trip before it begins. In such cases, the participant will receive a refund of the amount paid or an alternative date will be arranged.

Participant Conduct

Participants must behave in a manner that does not endanger their own safety or the safety of others.

The guide has the right to remove a participant from the trip if the participant is clearly intoxicated, poses a safety risk or fails to follow the guide's instructions.

In such cases, the participation fee will not be refunded.

Minors

Minors participate under the responsibility of their guardian unless otherwise agreed.

A minor may participate only with the consent of their guardian.

Insurance

Participants are recommended to have their own personal accident and travel insurance.

The organiser has liability insurance covering its activities as required by law.

Limitation of Liability

The organiser's liability is limited to providing the trip as agreed.

The organiser is not responsible for participants' personal belongings or any damage to or loss of such belongings.

Photography

Photographs may be taken during trips for marketing purposes.

If you do not wish to appear in photographs, please inform the guide before the trip.

Validity

These terms apply to all guided trips organised by Lake & Hike Oy and remain valid until further notice.
