Guided day trip in the Hiidenportti Nationalpark

Join us for a day trip to Hiidenportti National Park. This guided hiking excursion of 3–4 hours takes you to its most famous attraction, the Hiidenportti Gorge – a rugged canyon with steep rock walls rising tens of meters high, creating a dark and mystical atmosphere.

The route passes through varied terrain, including forests and wetlands. Along the way, your wilderness guide will share stories about the area's history, geology, and nature while also ensuring safety throughout the excursion. Guidance is available in both Finnish and English.

During the trip, you will enjoy traditional campfire coffee or tea prepared over an open fire. Please bring your own snacks and water bottle.

What Should You Bring? Recommended Clothing / Equipment

Please dress appropriately for the weather. Light rain does not prevent hiking. Choose footwear that is comfortable for walking on uneven terrain. Bring your own snacks; the guide will provide hot drinks during the trip.
